Tips for saving fuel for mini excavators

Release Date:09.23.2024

Everyone who drives a mini excavator knows that in addition to the maintenance of the machine, the daily operating cost accounts for the majority, which is burning oil. Do you feel dizzy and heartbroken every time you refuel the machine? Since refueling is inevitable, it is necessary to work hard from saving fuel (today to some hard disks) to provide you with fuel-saving tips for excavator operation.

Before sharing, think of yourself as an excavator, you will better understand why.

1. When loading, the excavator should be in a higher position and the truck should be parked at the same height as the work surface.

The reason is very Simple, a stone, do you lift your knees as hard as your head? How much "energy" will it save? Assuming the height is the same as before, the power can be increased by 40%. Cool! 2. When the bucket cylinder and connecting rod, the top rod cylinder and the top rod are all 90°, each cylinder pushes the excavator with the maximum force. 3. When excavating the ground, the bucket or loosening device should keep the ground angle at about 30°, and then retract the bucket rod. When the bucket rod is close to vertical, the bucket rod has the greatest force and can withstand a larger load. These two key points are like bending your arms to carry things. , still keep your arms straight, but bend them of course.

4. At the beginning of excavation, do not extend the bucket rod to the maximum effective range, the best effective range is about 80%.

5. Bucket axis excavation plan: The angle of the bucket axis from the farthest 45° to the inside is 30°.

The excavation depth is slightly different, but larger buckets and buckets should be operated within this range, and not used at the end of the hydraulic cylinder stroke.

6. During continuous excavation, place the chassis forward so that you can walk immediately after excavation. If you want to walk, change it again, you will burn at the beginning and end Burn a lot of oil.

7. When digging a trench, first dig the two ends of the trench, and then dig the center part. In this way, digging in the center can save a lot of work and energy.

8. Put the engine in economic gear. Select automatic idling to allow the engine to idle during digging.

9. Minimize the rotation radius.

10. The smaller the excavation depth, the better the excavation economy.

Divided into three layers of excavation, upper, middle and lower, if it is carried out from low to high, the effect scale will increase first, and then decrease due to the increase in the power scale of the excavator, reducing the operating power, which will cost a lot of oil.
