Small excavators are helping us more and more, and people's demand for them is getting stronger and stronger. We also need to take care of them when using them. So what details should we pay attention to to protect the excavator before use?

First of all, we need to carry out daily routine maintenance details, including inspection, maintenance, adjustment, repair and tightening of the machine. Then when working in rocky soil or frozen soil, blasting should be carried out before excavation.

Before entering the site, you need to clearly understand the construction conditions and tasks. After entering the site, you should strictly abide by the relevant safety regulations on the construction site. The construction conditions and tasks include: the height and depth of filling and excavation, the height and location of underground cables, various pipes, slopes and wires, and the conditions and locations of various obstacles.

Again, check whether the switch contacts and insulation of the electrical circuit are in good condition. Check the pipelines and operating valves, working cylinders, oil pumps, etc. of the hydraulic system for leaks and abnormal movements. Check whether fuel, lubricating oil, etc. are sufficient. If insufficient, add them in time. It is strictly prohibited to smoke or approach open flames when adding fuel to avoid causing fire. It is also necessary to check whether the wire rope and the clips fixing the wire rope are firm and reliable. After the engine is started, no one is allowed to stand next to or inside the small excavator to avoid possible injuries.

When we perform inspection and maintenance according to the above details, we can avoid unnecessary losses, increase work efficiency, and extend the service life of the machine.
